Why do women blog?

Why do I blog?

I have a lot to say.
I have a story to tell.
I can't *not* write.
I want to be famous.
I want people to find my words interesting and entertaining.
I want to leave this legacy for my children when I leave this world.

But I think Shel Silverstein put it best in his poem "Put something in":

Draw a crazy picture,
Write a nutty poem,
Sing a mumble-gumble song,
Whistle through your comb.
Do a loony-goony dance,
’Cross the kitchen floor,
Put something silly in the world
That ain’t been there before.
